📜 Educational Qualifications & Eligibility Requirements

Educational Qualification:

  • General/Unreserved/General-EWS candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC are eligible.
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/SC/ST/PwD/Third gender category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) are eligible.
  • Candidates who are pursuing their Master’s degree or equivalent course, or those awaiting their final year results, can apply provisionally. Such candidates must pass their Master's degree with the required percentage within two years from the date of the SET result.

Age Limit:

  • There is no upper age limit.

⚖ Scheme of Examination & Selection Criteria

  • The test will consist of two papers (Paper I and Paper II) conducted in a single 3-hour session (180 minutes) with no break between papers.
  • Paper I: 100 Marks (50 compulsory questions) - Assess teaching/research aptitude, reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness.
  • Paper II: 200 Marks (100 compulsory questions) - Based on the subject selected by the candidate to assess deep subject knowledge.
  • Marking Scheme: Each correct answer carries 2 marks. There is no negative marking for incorrect responses.

  1. To fill the online form, candidates must visit the official University website at www.uok.ac.in.
  2. Alternatively, candidates can access the SSO Rajasthan Portal at sso.rajasthan.gov.in/signin and login.
  3. Click on the SET-2026 link on the dashboard or recruitment portal.
  4. Fill out the registration details, complete the application form, and upload required documents.
  5. Pay the examination fee online as applicable for your category.
  6. Submit the application and download the confirmation page for future reference.
