📜 Educational Qualifications & Eligibility Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
For Post Codes JRF-E1 to JRF-E12, JRF-M1, JRF-M2, JRF-M3: First Class M.E. / M.Tech / M.Sc (Engg.) or equivalent postgraduate degree with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10-point scale. Candidates must also be selected through a National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship, GATE, or other national-level exams conducted by central government agencies such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.).
For Post Code JRF-E13: M.Sc in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% average of all semesters or 6.84 CGPA/CPI on a 10-point scale, OR First Class M.Tech or equivalent postgraduate degree in Aerospace with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA, along with qualification in NET/GATE or equivalent exams.
Age Limit:
- Maximum age of 28 years as on 11.07.2026.
- Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- Relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates.
- Age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Widows, Divorced Women, and Judicially Separated Women as per Government of India orders.
⚖ Scheme of Examination & Selection Criteria
- Initial screening of online applications based on academic performance and specified parameters.
- Shortlisted (screened-in) candidates will be called for an Interview to be conducted in Bengaluru only.
- Call letters for the interview will be sent strictly via email.
📝 Online submission instructions: How to Apply
- Visit the official ISRO website: www.isro.gov.in.
- Navigate to the 'CAREERS' section between June 12, 2026, and July 11, 2026.
- Fill out the online application form with correct details.
- Ensure you upload the following mandatory documents:
- Recent color passport-size photograph (not older than 6 months) and signature in JPG/JPEG format (max 500 KB each).
- Marks card of each semester/year with final pass certificate as a single PDF (max 1 MB).
- Caste/PwBD/Ex-Serviceman Certificate, if claiming relaxation, as a PDF (max 1 MB).
- Submit the application form and print/save the generated Online Registration Number for future reference.
