📜 Educational Qualifications & Eligibility Requirements
Age Limits (as on 10.06.2026):
- Junior Foreman posts: Upper age limit is 40 years.
- Operator, Technician, Mining Mate, and related posts: Upper age limit is 35 years.
- SUPT(JOT) posts: Upper age limit is 27 years.
- Age relaxation is applicable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), and 10 years for PwBD candidates.
Educational Qualifications:
- Operator (HEMM) Gr. III: 10th pass with ITI (NCVT/SCVT) of 2 years duration in Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV) trade or 1 year duration in Diesel Mechanic Trade with MMV/Diesel Mechanic Apprenticeship and valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
- Mining Mate Gr. III: 10th pass with valid Mining Mate Certificate of Competency.
- Jr. Foreman (Mines): Diploma in Mining/Mining Engineering with valid Foreman Certificate of Competency.
- Jr. Foreman (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical Engineering with valid Supervisory Certificate of Competency.
- SUPT(JOT) / Technician (Fitter/Electrical/Instrumentation/Operator): 10th pass with ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in respective trades with Apprenticeship certificate.
- SUPT(JOT)-Laboratory: B.Sc (Hons) in Chemistry.
⚖ Scheme of Examination & Selection Criteria
- Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT): A 120-minute test consisting of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (60% domain-specific and 40% non-technical/general awareness/reasoning/quantitative aptitude). There is no negative marking.
- Stage 2: Trade Test: Based on CBT scores, shortlisted candidates will be called for a Trade Test (where applicable). The weightage for CBT and Trade Test will be 60% and 40% respectively.
- Stage 3: Document Verification & Medical Examination: Final selection is subject to verification of documents and physical fitness as per NALCO medical standards.
